As of January 27, a final Permanent Standard to prevent COVID-19 in Virginia workplaces and trucking terminals located in Virginia (including those of non-Virginia based companies) went into effect. The Permanent Standard supersedes the Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) that was passed in July, and in addition to including certain provisions from the ETS, it also includes several important changes for trucking industry workplaces.
