UCRA Enforcement Date Now July 1; Revised UCRA Guidance Issued

At the opening of 2008 registration for the Unified Carrier Registration Agreement (UCRA), states agreed not to enforce UCRA requirements until June 1.  Now, the states have agreed to move the enforcement date back until July 1 to accommodate the registration of carriers and other entities that may have received their UCRA registration notices late.  But be careful – some states may enforce against their own carriers earlier than July.
